Miss AL Simpson
Speaking

Reinvention
is compounding

Miss AL Simpson is a Scottish cryptoartist, AI-cinema director and founder who has been tokenising her work since 2019 — a year and a half before the NFT boom broke into public view. Her work has sold at Sotheby’s, New York, in the same sale as Warhol and de Kooning, and exhibited at Bonhams, London; she has been documented by the Washington Post and NBC News. She speaks with the conviction of someone who built the future before it arrived — on being early, on the women written out of cryptoart’s early history, and on turning a fourteen-thousand-work archive into the foundation of an AI company.

01

Before Beeple: What It Took to Be Early

Conviction before consensus. Tokenising art a year and a half before the NFT boom broke into public view — and what being early actually costs, and compounds.

02

The Posthuman Feminine Gaze

A cinematic gaze with no patriarchal source code — built from woman, machine, ink, drone and weather. On teaching a machine to see women differently, and on the women who were there from the start of cryptoart.

03

From Archive to Asset

How seven years and fourteen thousand works became the foundation of an AI company — provenance as property, and owning your own intelligence.
