“Still Here” — the first exhibition by return() — presented digital artworks affirming that, despite displacement and erasure, the Palestinian people are still here. Featuring works from the Abu Alya collection, with 23 artists from 15 countries.

Exhibited AI Cinema with Sotheby’s — “Miss AL Simpson’s ‘Les Drones de la Banlieue’ is a spellbinding AI video artwork that captures a flowing, dreamlike journey through the suburbs and landmarks of Paris, as seen through an otherworldly lens.” Her work was offered in the same sale as a Willem de Kooning charcoal drawing (Untitled, c.1960s, Lot 482).

Her painting “LOVE’S LOOK” was chosen by a Saatchi Art senior curator into “Inspired by Willem de Kooning” — a curated collection of artists carrying on de Kooning’s gestural, figurative tradition.

Given her own dedicated space in Pranksy’s landmark Mayfair exhibition — a special section devoted to Miss AL Simpson, shown alongside genre-defining works by Dolce & Gabbana, Burnt Toast and Goldenwolf Studios. She presented “Londinium,” a large mixed-media artwork, exhibited alongside its animated digital twin.

Presented “Metamorphoses” — her first AI long-form generative project, inspired by Ovid’s epic poem and blended with her analogue artwork from 2018. Released on OKAI (K011) as a Dutch auction on 31 May 2023; the edition sold out.
