PAPER TRAIL
4,000 individual 1/1 collages cut by a machine from seven years of her own archive, each carrying a RUTHVEN Origin Passport. Launches Monday 5 October 2026 on OpenSea.
PAPER TRAIL is 4,000 individual artworks, each a 1/1: collages cut by a machine from seven years of Miss AL Simpson's own archive, each with a figure and a ground generated on models trained only on her own work. Every one carries a RUTHVEN Origin Passport: a record of its origin written at the moment it was made, naming every piece, every source work and every year, fingerprinted and anchored on IPFS. Any work can be checked against its record at ruthven.ai/origin/paper-trail
